When it comes to academics and adventures, Robin LaBarbera just can’t seem to get enough.

An assistant professor in Biola’s School of Education, LaBarbera (M.A. ’00) has four degrees (two bachelor’s, a master’s and a Ph.D.), and is currently working toward her fifth online — an M.A. in special education from Arizona State. At Biola, she’s helping to lead the way in online education efforts. This fall, when the School of Education begins offering its M.A. in teaching and M.A. in education programs entirely online, she’ll be teaching three classes for the online certificate program in special education.

When she’s not learning or teaching, LaBarbera maintains a sense of adventure — cycling, scuba diving and traveling the world on mission trips.

Here is your chance to get to know her.
